AIセーフティ・インスティテュート（AISI）が2025年9月にオープンソースソフトウェア（OSS）として公開したAIセーフティ評価のためのツールである「AIセーフティ評価環境」について、利用者からのフィードバックや技術動向をふまえ、より有益な評価ツールへと改良していくために、2025年10月から、複数の民間企業とAISIが共同で、AIセーフティ評価環境の今後の方向性や機能強化案などについて議論する「AIセーフティ評価環境 検討タスクフォース」（検討TF）を組織して、検討活動を続けています。
2025年度の検討TFでは、AIビジネスに関する知見・経験を有する検討TFメンバによる議論から、AIセーフティ評価や評価ツールについての様々な課題認識が共有され、多くの論点がリストアップされました。これに加えて有識者ヒアリングの結果も反映し、論点を整理しました。検討TFの2025年度の活動終了にあたり、検討結果をとりまとめた2025年度版の検討報告書を公開します。

Japan AI Safety Institute (J-AISI) released a tool for evaluating AI safety called the "AI Safety Evaluation Environment" as open-source software (OSS) in September 2025. To make the tool more useful by incorporating user feedback and technological trends, J-AISI and several companies jointly established the "AI Safety Evaluation Environment Task Force" in October 2025. The Task Force has since been discussing the future direction of the tool and proposals for enhancing its functionality.
In FY2025, discussions among Task Force members with expertise and experience in AI-related business led to the sharing of various challenges regarding AI safety evaluation and evaluation tools, resulting in the identification of numerous key issues. In addition, we incorporated insights from expert interviews to further organize these issues. As the FY2025 activities of the Task Force conclude, we are releasing the FY2025 edition of the Task Force Study Report, which summarizes the findings of these discussions.
